2. What data we process and why
Booking: name, email, phone, dates, number of guests and payment details, to manage your booking and stay, whether made directly with us or received from platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Guest registration: the ID document details collected at online check-in, to meet the legal obligation to register guests and report them to the authorities. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Invoicing: the details needed to issue the invoice. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Contact: what you write to us through the form, by email or on WhatsApp, so we can reply. Legal basis: steps taken at your request and legitimate interest.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by the booking engine. We do not store your full card details.
4. Who processes data with us
Amenitiz: booking engine, booking management, online check-in and payments.
Cloudflare: website hosting and cookie-free visitor statistics.
WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.
We share data with the authorities only when the law requires it, such as for guest registration.
5. How long we keep it
Booking and invoicing data are kept for the periods required by tax and accounting law. Guest registration data, for the period required by law. Contact messages without a booking are deleted within 12 months of the last contact.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and object to its processing, by writing to bookings@advena.pt. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
7. Cookies
The site only uses the cookies it needs to work. Visitor statistics use no cookies and do not identify visitors. The Amenitiz booking engine, shown on the Book page, may set its own cookies, needed to complete the booking.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top is updated.
